This. How can you not pay rent and not have a mortgage? That's most likely a problem, too.

easy, have a house that is paid off...though i doubt that is the case with the OP... and living with moma is another option.

Also is OP counting OT in as his monthly pay amount. They look at 40 hours of work. OT comes and goes.

I know I used to get 8 hours OT every pay period for years until company stopped all OT 3 years ago. Was painful for a while

Call Dave Ramsey. He would recommend staying in an apartment until you can be sure you can live together more than 5 years, and so you can pay the house off first.

Let us know how high interest payments and 7 depreciating assets works out from an investment standpoint...

when i got my bike back from stubbs May 2012.
i tried to get a used 2010 CBR 1k

my credit score was 768
a truck note, and a few other things.

i was denied.
(im military active duty, 2 years in have 4 more years on my 1st enlistment)

later that day we tried through Suzuki, i was approved for 17K no down payment, 0% apr for 5 years

a few weeks later. i find out honda denied me due to not having my name match up with my SSN#.. YUP STUBBS ENTERED MY NAME WRONG

needless to say, i buy all my trucks/bikes from Houston (i take leave to fly down then the drive back)

i will never again go through Stubbs. not to mention a few shady things they did this last time around.

If you got 3% on a toy you got somewhere else, you just haven't figured it out...

Says who? The interest rate being 3% means nothing in his overall deal
