'08 CRF250R Supermoto

So I have a spare 250. I'm thinking on turning it into a supermoto. If this is a bad idea please say something and ill just go back to plan a of just getting it ready to sell. First off I need to find somewhere to use it. I've seen some people talking about gulf coast kartway, but i havent found anything solid. I'm looking at doing this on the cheap. I have a zero hour bike and I'm looking for a motor its a cr so i guess i need a cr but maybe a trail motor would fit if it will last longer. First I need to switch over the wheels. I have seen the kits to do it but can I use the stock hubs and just get 17" rims and spokes, is so i need to figure out the size. Next I guess the brakes. Can I use the stock stuff to start? I'd like to be able to just swap wheels to use it as a backup or if someone needs a bike. I'm guessing the gearing would be different so I need to sort that out also. I'm probably forgetting a lot, but it's a start I guess. Thank for any and all help, and if you have anything up for sale that would help get the project going that would be great.

It would no doubt be a fun bike but there aren't really any tracks nearby that would be suitable for a 250 motard. I would get a 450 for a track bike. 250 would make a fun intown bike to rip around on.

I never said it would not be fun, i said it is too big to ride there, if the rules don't let you ride there how can I be wrong? You can not have fun where they will not let you ride.

Per rules yes, it is too big to ride there. Maybe if he puts some 150R stickers on it and makes a fake turbo so it apears to follow the rules.
