Question COTA--Did you lose anything while riding on the track?

I had a guy come up to me at the grid yesterday (Sunday), and said he lost his gas cap, which was realized when he got a face full of gasoline while riding. While doing a track drive yesterday, someone found one. I could not find the person that had lost theirs, so I still have it. Unfortunately, I can't think of the guy's name, I only recognized him by his face (sorry ), so I don't know "who" I'm looking for.

I also had someone looking for a lost go pro, and initially when the guys were searching for it, it was not found. It was found a while later, and I have it.

Also, someone loaned the Gate Marshal a beach umbrella on Saturday, but I don't know who, and I still have that, as well.

If you are the owner of any of these things, please contact me and describe your item (be specific), and I will make arrangements to get it back to you.

Haha... In Level 3 on Sunday, someone lost an entire GLOVE. How? I dunno, but I'm really curious about that one. It was laying about 3/4 through the long, back straight. Pretty funny.

Wow. Wonder how that happens? LOL! Maybe it was laying on their seat or something, and flew off on the ride. Who knows, that's funny though.

LOL Sorry, I know who it belongs to, and he's already contacted me. Besides, it's kind of missing some parts.

My pleasure. And I have found the owner of the camera and the umbrella. Just need the gas cap guy, and we're good!

Yeah Candace - I'll post up at some point - but Ride Smart and especially your crew did a great, great job, IMO. The sessions were predictable by the clock and you guys got virually all riders home without injury. I can't wait to go back. I'd go this weekend if I could.

Thank you, I'm glad you had a great experience. That's what it was all about. Hopefully we'll be back there....and I WILL ride it then. LOL!

Man, those are some large jpg. files! ROFL!

Unfortunately, I was never given anything like that, nor do I recall anything like that being reported over the radios. I will give you a link that I use for parts cross-referencing though. If nothing else, it gives you the OEM part number that you can use to search for it elsewhere. Worst case, you have a place to order from. Their prices seem pretty reasonable, considering, IMO.

I mounted my Go Pro on the rounded part of the fairing and before Kris took the bike out he could not believe it was going to stay. Glad it did and I think a large rubber band on the extension arm might help get the vibration out. Any thoughts?
