Here's what I think. :icon_bigg

Benefit from a 2-1 on an RC is weight savings, major negative is a sizable dip in the midrange.

Benefit from a quality 2-2 on an RC is smooth power curve/delivery, major negative is the weight compared to a 2-1.

I would bet the house that you'll feel the dip in the midrange way more than you'll feel the weight savings of one can. Just my $.02...

I know part of the allure of the RC is being different and therefore also having a more rare exhaust system is also cool, but there are some good priced (and good performing) systems for the RC that most people don't have. The most common (edit: not necessarily good performing) affordable systems you'll find on the RC is Jardine, Yosh, Erion, and (gasp) D&D.

I just recently sold my Sato and purchased Leo Vince (w/ removable baffles) and could not be happier w/ them... Guess that means I'm getting old. :eh: Paid $550 shipped for Ti slip-ons...

Let me know how that works out for you. I would be very interested in that set-up.

no, I decided not to get it. Multiple reasons, mainly that set up has no dyno numbers to back it up and ponies are so few and far between I could not stand to loose more also I think my neighbors would hate my guts when I left in the middle of the night. Plus the wife neede new tires on her sv and she controls the check book:eh:
