I thought the whole day was excellent. Thanks RideSmart for locking down the track against very difficult odds. You guys did a fantastic job of catering to the apparently overwhelming demands of COTA yet kept the day fun. The track itself was epic. I hope to ride it again.

Here's that video of the person in white leathers that I followed around in 2B. I think this was the last 2B session of the day. Put some labels on it and it's worth $25.

And this was my closest call all day, earlier in that same session. Pucker factor goes of the chart for just an instant around 48 seconds.

That first one is labeled private

I was being fairly conservative running just around 2:55-2:53 and gear high in most places to be easy on a tired motor.

Fixed. I used 2 clips I had marked private while I was working on them and forgot to change this one back.

Nice video's, what bike are you on X-ray? That looked fun, hopefully they will have another track day there. Good thing I didn't buy the track day though, as my bike is currently in pieces.

LOL! I know how you feel Candace, I don't know how you were able to be there all weekend and not get out and ride. That's some dedication you got there.

In the future, I'd advise those who don't know a whole lot, to get off the track reasonably quick when the red flag comes out. Not slow to a snails pace.

And I'd advise myself to never, ever, ride in level 2 again no matter how slow my motorcycle is. It's not safe.

LOL Yeah was pretty tough. But I actually enjoy TM'ing, and I know that what I'm doing helps keep my friends and family safe. So it's rewarding in it's own way. Exhausting, but fun.

Actually not a European champ. it is called the British Grand National Champion. Canadian National Champion, and 2 time winner of Daytona CCS light weight GP. How is your resume looking. win any ama events lately? did not think so. The only going on was by you and anyone who would listen to you. Any time you want to compare resumes let me know.

Why don't cdill and gpracer just compare lap times. It's probably more representative of who is actually the more skilled rider. The measuring contest just will not work for this.

Not that its any relevant, but I thought Canadian riding seasons are like 2 months long each year, with 3 track days and one race...hard to practice unless you find a frozen lake and some spikes in the tires.
They must blow stones onto the track when cold to give riders grip on the icy roadcourse.
Must be hard to compare with TX riding environment, temps, tracks, notorious riders coming out of this state - just saying'. That would make you a very skilled rider indeed to survive those conditions. Tell more.
