Try Suomy as well since it's in your price range. Arai didn't fit my head well so went back with Suomy. Have Crash tested the Suomy and it is a pillow!

Bad thing about Suomy is customer service but replacement parts are everywhere. Had some friends with some high end Shoei's who both dumped them, only have one friend left with a Shoei but it's the best helmet that he's had so far... As for the noise, it depends on the air circulation as the more air it passes the noisier it will be. Shure ear plugs or foamies for me.

shoraimy is the best new helmets in the market....just get one part shoei, some handcrafted quality of arai, and awesome graphics of soumy and mash together and get the best helmet in the world
