Hey

So yea I just bought my first bike just over a month ago. Everyone on here seems extremely awesome and helpful. Put 3k miles on it so far since I've had it but it's mainly highway miles. Hoping to start doing group rides that are noob friendly for the most part but I really want to start finding roads with good twisties near the conroe/spring/woodlands area. Hoping someone here will show me some good twisties to ride and maybe even teach me a thing or two! If anyone is interested in taking some rides soon and maybe showing me the ropes on good twisties it would be greatly appreciated. This seems like an awesome community of bikers looking out for each other so I figure I'm in the right place to be! Thanks all and ride safe!

DO a trackday. You will learn more than you could EVER learn on the street when i comes to handling and understanding your machine.

The SV is a great bike and is a blast on the track!

Welcome to MH.
Im probably going to start doing noob-moderate paced rides Saturday mornings for the north folks on some really nice roads. just keep a look out in the event section, and also always ride in your comfort zone when riding with other people.

Thank you, it's awesome here to finally find a group of good bikers willing to help. Yea 3k in a month, needless to say I've been bit by the bug. If I'm off work then I'm riding, wanted a bike for a very long time and now that I have it I'm making up for lost time only downfall is that it's mostly highway miles. Still a noob but not a squid at least. I take what few rodes with twisties that I know of, I would just like someone to show me some better spots because the ones I'm at are kinda weak. Pleasure talking to you all, glad I finally signed up here!

If anyone is doing group rides through some decent twisties please feel free to contact me at (936)232-3750. Need to start doing meet ups and meet new friends and learn a thing or two from you badasses

Please do, by no means am I an expert and I'm hoping with you guys showing me some good roads you could even help me out a little. Track day will be coming next week so I imagine I will learn a lot from that but I really want to get on some group rides with you guys. Not a single one of my friends have a bike (not sure if they are scared or what) I still enjoy the freedom of solo ride but I could only imagine how much more fun it would be riding with you more experienced guys and maybe learning a thing to two. Thanks for all the help fellows, you guys are all awesome and it's nice to be a place where you aren't critisized for being a beginner. Much love homies (no ) and I hope to ride with some of yall soon!
