possible rip wreck

Saw what's left of a really bad wreck involving a green truck and a cruise. Highway 6 northbound just north of 529 all 3 lanes shut down. Cruise was wedged under the truck. Blood on the ground :( that's horrible sight .be safe!!!

Doesn't sound good...hope everythings okay. That can be a congested spot with people turning into those shopping centers/restraunts and multiple lanes.

Just got the call, it was a buddy on mines dad. Lady texting in the phone crossed two lanes of traffic and hit him head on. No drivers license no insurance.

Sucks, he was a cool old guy, just went through a divorce, beats prostate cancer and gets taken out by some stupid texting.

There was a 75.foot skid from him locking it up, she never hot the breaks according to the detectives.

Jesus, he passed away? RIP. Im guilty of it, but they really need to find a way to block cell service in cars while they are in drive or above a certain speed. Its just horrible a man like that was killed. Completely innocent, probably never commited a major crime in life, Beat prostate cancer. Truly a fearing man im sure and some driving illegally just takes him away.

I saw the scene and could not believe the damage. It was incredible, mangled bike and truck, curb busted up. oil and blood everywhere. Not a pleasant sight and def one to remember as a reminder to drive safe both on 2 wheels and 4. I wish everybody paid as much attention to the road as they should. But oh well. We are only arrogant humans.

! Everytime I see some texting on the highway I want to throw a brick through their window.

I am not guilty of it, it's really easy to not touch your phone while driving, do it at a stoplight if you gotta check your facebook that bad.

I am sorry to hear the news.

No lic/no ins/caused fatality wreck should equal a very long stay in prison, but I'm sure it won't. Sucks.

RIP rider.

I live right down the road and seen the aftermath, wife and i were wondering how the heck the truck was facing the wrong way and all the way over furthest away from that direction of traffic. (Looks like she crossed a median and 3 lanes by where the truck and bike came to rest.

I take 529 all the way to work and hwy 6 either direction to goto 290 or HI-10, and i +1 that its a mad house. You would think that they would put the concrete barriers like they just did to 529 and parts of 1960 to stop this from happening.
