120 lb/ft of torque from zero to the limiter! Who needs more than one gear ratio anyway?

"Naturally, they’ve included Bluetooth functionality for both iOS and Android devices, but the real kicker is a specially developed helmet Mission is planning to sell next year (after the arduous process of DOT approval) that includes a built-in heads up display that connects with MissionOS over Bluetooth. And just to get developers ready, Mission plans on making an SDK available ahead of launch so they can begin reviewing app submissions"

Neato.

I know bikes like these will be made... I just hope they are somewhere between Tesla and Prius. I don't need/want the Ferrari of electric bikes, but the Camaro of electric bikes would be nice

Called the Mission Ride Smart (Ride Smart for “Race Special”), the bike won’t be cheap: the price tag is an eye-watering $59,999 — or $56,499 after the feds kick in a tax credit. But when it goes on sale next summer, it will be the first step towards a revolution that Seeger calls “Motorcycle 2.0″.

ikr? these top dollar electronic vehicles are such a laugh they are making.
absolutely nobody (who really needs them) can afford them, and they act like they are pioneering the industry when what really needs to be made are utilitarian, affordable, bargain electric/hybrid vehicles/motorcycles

I personally like the Empulse R electric motorcycle better. I believe that it's the only bike with a gearbox.
