Check every apartment complex/parking lot in the area. A lot of times they will leave it for a day or two to see if lo-jack/tracking shows up.

Hope insurance will cover you if not

Just wanted to add that a 96 ZX6r was also stolen that same night in the same area.

Yep, It was my wife's bike that was also stolen. A 1996 ZX6R. Just finished it's out of state inspection. Didn't have theft insurance on it. My 02 CBR1100XX was right next to it and they didn't take it, but I wish they would have at least bumped in to it. It has an alarm with pager. But alas, they did not and made off with my wife's first and only motorcycle. I have been trying to find her another one but that is proving difficult on a small budget like ours.

I made an indiegogo for her so we could raise the funds to hopefully get another one. Being that she gives to our community as an outstanding elementary teacher in the Katy ISD. I was hoping we could get support to replace her bike. Here is a link if anyone would like to check it out and donate or share.

Thanks for checking it out. Be sure to always lock up your bike. It's a hard lesson to learn.

When I get on my computer I'll share in my FB and see if I can help any. No promises, but I'll try.

Thanks for the replies and shares Houstonbussa. I really appreciate that. It's been a bit of a rough go around here lately. I just got the clutch springs and friction plates in for her bike that was stolen. It's clutch was out the door, but was a pretty nice little safety device in case she bumped that throttle a bit to hard.
Also got in our rider intercoms so we could talk to each other while riding. Just a sad sad day.

Some pictures of the stolen bike

Some pictures of her working on her motorcycle. I showed her how to remove her airbox and carbs so we could clean out the gummed up jets and choke passage way.
Her 5th graders named the bike "Emmie". When they found out it was stolen they made her some cards out of construction paper. She has a great group of kiddos.

I kill theifes but really guys...Why do you put yourself in the position to get ...You gotta go thru three locks, my alarm calling me Not the popo and a pitbull to get to my bikes.
I don't have much
sympathy for the apt. people. If you can't put your bike in a safe place maybe you should not have one right now.
Good Luck with your find and killing a theif.

True man, it's a tough lesson to learn. Just waiting on payday before we could buy anymore needed items for it. The new bike will definitely have locks and alarm on it. My blackbird had an alarm but did not get bumped or moved. I feel they were targeting that bike for whatever reason. Maybe they knew my bird had an alarm and my wife's 6r didn't

Wrecker driver tried to take my buddys 12' zx6r last night at his apartment. No probable cause and was perfectly legal. A gun got pointed in their face and they took off..sorry for the loss gotta be extra diligent in apartments.

He wasn't sure what wrecker company it was they didn't stay around long enough to leave a business card. He did report it to the police though

I saw a white wrecker truck trolling the street when I came home. I attempted to find out what he was looking for but he just ran off. I believe the side of the truck said something like Hot Wheels Towing/Trucking ?

Anybody heard of that before?
