woot woot, I'm legal begal

just went down and took the dps test, was BREEZE, it took about 5 minutes of test time, 5 minutes of paperwork and 30 minutes of waiting.

Whilst I was waiting, I met a very kindly older fellow who after conversing for a while, told me he had a very clean 1954 motoguzzi in a barn that still runs and has no rust and he'd like to see it go to a good home (pointing at me, once again, major wooootness):icon_bigg
moral of story, it pays to be nice and friendly to the older folks who just want to talk. I could have blown him off, but paid direct attention to him. nice fellow.

Wow 3 hours? Makes me feel kind of lucky I went to get the licence when I did. The first person I spoke to so I could get the application, I showed him my DPS copy of the certifcate from Awesome Cycles and he said to me he was thinking about going to Awesome Cycles as well, to do his MSF course. I told him it was a pretty great class.
Being this is the DPS office at the corner of Mangum and Dacoma, I was suprised when he told me to bring the application right back to him as soon as I was done. As soon as I did he set up the computer for me and I took the test right that minute. Did not even have to wait in line to do the processing paperwork with the ladies behind the cameras either.
