i am inlove with the cbr's and i love the way they ride.

the r1 feels alot more smooth (handling wise) imo.

but honestly ive herd NOTHING but good things about the zx10r.

omfg choices.

The R1 is very quirky leaving from a stop.

Bike(s):
- The bike I own
- All the bikes I used to own which I still list so everyone on the forums will know how cool I am

I've never owned a CBR, but I have owned an R1, and my vote goes to the CBR.

1000rr is routinely the best street-liter bike. beats the r1 at the track too.

Ride them both and you'll decide to get the zx10r - the gen 4 is absolute .

Edit: Would help if we knew what your intentions are with the bike and a bit about your riding style. Budget? Used? New?

I own an R1 but from what I've read, the CBR is more comfortable on the street. More details about what you're looking for would help.

No its not....just a super tall first gear. A little more clutch slip is required to get it going...nothing dropping a tooth on the front sprocket wont cure.......

Oh yeah, thats a modification...not in your wheelhouse.

But...an R1 is a heavy .

Get the ZX10R.....mo power, better chassis, and fantastic Traction Control system.
