Thinking about getting a new Track suit...

Hey there, whats up? Looking for people with experience with different suits. I have an older suit and curious about upgrading. At the moment I have an old XTI suit that says its a 56. I found a clearance on a alpinestars model that I like but its a 58, and I'm wondering that should fit or not based on the old suit that I have has probably stretched. I do not want a suit to big. If any sponsors here have any specials going on I would be interested in hearing them. My budget is under a grand if that helps. How much do you need to spend on a good suit is another question I have, I will soon be getting a back protector as well. Thanks for all the help.

alpinestars leather stays tight, i thought mine was going to break in more but it doesnt break-in as much, IMO they fit a little tighter than others. never had the XTI suits though, how did it break in on that suit?

Sorry, I didn't mention it. I bought the suit used so I'm not sure how it broke in. This will be my second suit and my first new suit. I'm hoping to do 7-10 trackdays a year.

I live in Lake Charles, La. We don't just have a store here. I may call them tomorrow and ask about buying something with the possibility of returning it. Not sure how many they have in stock. Thanks for your input. As far as quality is there anything that's going to offer more protection or last longer than alpinestars?

Check prices for Teknics as they are going out of business. You may have to order and possibly send back if it doesn't fit, so check return policies.

Alpinestar is a great suit as well. I'd say go for the size you found if the price is right. They fit a little snug and I'll bet your used suite was stretched a bit before you got it.
