How did you manage to take two bikes with you everywhere? Did you keep one stored elsewhere?

I can see why you had to drop to $31. $42/day doesn't sound like much, but it works out to $1260/month. That's actually more than the biweekly paycheck of many working folks, with family.

What prompted you to call it quits? Is it like Forrest Gump just stopped in the middle of some hwy in the desert, then just turned around and went home?

I only got hassled in Wisconsin and Texas( go figure).
Had many offer to put me up in their homes, had one guy bring me coffee the next morning.

I was not on a SS....try riding a "standard"....you can go between tanks of fuel before you want to get off.

Pretty much. I had done 2 loops, on 1963 Unimog trip from Bend. Or. to Orlando....and then 1.5 loops before calling it done.

That "RFS" sticke I got from a really cool ADVer at one of the big Meet and greets in Montana (2010).....it stands for Really Short.

there is a story that would take three days to type out, but maybe a visual will help.

I am the one in all red.....

Area 51 1020 fix

From that day forward I was known as the midget on ADV.....make sense?
