I would camp out a spot for a few days and enjoy the scenery or people.

This was not one of those spots.

I dont think I had a favorite.....they all had a spot to fill....and some random event brings them back to the forefront.

This one just jumped into my head.
ask a guy who spent almost 2 years living off a motorcycle, anything you would like

This was a Vietnam Memorial in NM.....I made it all of about 30 feet into this place and fell to my knees weeping like an infant.

I grew up a .mil brat, served as a contractor, had friends that served, etc. many, many museums, tributes, etc., never had that happen. Crazy

and a great dinner the night before...
ask a guy who spent almost 2 years living off a motorcycle, anything you would like
hey! It was meat and bean group....healthy!!!

I left the next morning heading towards Montana. I was about.....300 miles to the WA/MT line. I was about.... 30 miles west of Yakima. They were doing major road work, which was EVERYDAMNED where I was.

The end of the bike was getting wierd...., a flat!

Well I had enough stuff to fix it....off the side I go. Now I had been riding on chewed up pavement for about 15 miles....with a flat. Grooved pavement will make a bikes end wobble like a flat....

I pull over, open the tailbox, only to find out I forgot my patches back in Houston......
I limp it all the way to a little town west of Yakima by about 12 miles.
Pretty sure it was Naches, Wa.. Some random road worker puled over and gave me a ride the 3-4 miles to pick up a plug kit and take me back......people can be amazing when you get out of the city.

Anyways, I go back, plug the and start heading west.
Tire kept losing air....WTF!?!?!
Tired of pumping my hand pump, I found a coin op pump.
Hummmmmm, losing about 3-5 lbs a minute. it, fill it up to 50 lns and head to town.

Stopped at a C-store that had a pump and a phone book. These two little teenage/college chics park beside me. THe cute little blonde start talking to me about "WTF are you doing?" I tell her, tell her my tire issue. She sits down beside me in a t-shirt and bikini bottom and tells me to forget the tire and come rafting down the river with her and her friend.
Says she wants to ride on the back with me to MT and wherever, but can't.
I was seriously thinking of a motel and a hand full of rubbers.

no! I will never get rid of her, but she was cool enough to call her school mate who works at the local Kawi dealer. SCORE!

had a helluva time getting the valve stem to release the air....seems my plug had come out and get caught in the stem.
NOPE....I had a MX 17" tube in a tubeless spoked wheel......and tubeless Metzler Tourance tire....WTF!

So, they would not patch the tire but had a 17" proper tube.
$55 later I was riding again. Turns out the guy that helped me was also Jonas Street's HS buddy. Jonas is a baddass and I had the privilege of meeting him. Small World.

Next day ....was just as cool a story, and I got to ride this sexy fuckall of a road
