I may be the only one here that thinks.......

What a way to go.......giving everything you have to something you have dedicated your life to. I can only hope I go out like that.

I feel for the friends and family...sorry for your loss.

Dude more bikers will get killed in the next two weeks here in Houston on mundane roads than at the Isle of Man.

The bikes are fast but I'd bet the reliability and drivability of today's bikes have saved more lives. They use to run 500cc two strokes

Okay Dude..........I have been watching them ride there since 1969!. Just saying that there comes a time when things must change. I love the fact they fly down brick lined roads with both tires in the air. but when you start losing lives by(racing) like that. it might be a good ideal to start making it a little safer for racing!...And you are correct there will be more people killed on the street than there But one rider killed in a race is to many. riding the street is a risk we all take and we all do what we can to make it safe....ride safe and have fun.

Professional racing is dangerous, if it were not everyone would be doing it.

The riders know the dangers when they start training for it, and ride accordingly.
Besides, how could you make it more safe? Speed limits? oh yeah, you want to completely rearrange the race criteria by building a dedicated race track.....

FAIL!

True. I saw an interview with Guy Martin and said if it wasn't dangerous he probably wouldn't race the TT. These guys clearly k.ow what can happen and they come back every year.
