Yeah I feel the same, thats why I got this one, it has the most black from the factory, I will put some different bars on it and have them powder coated or painted. Some of the chome will have to stay though, like on the motor, just too much work to get that powerder coated. The kickstand will stay chrome though, I just really like that, its a nice touch.

They kind of look like they go on a bicycle. I want some like this, switch wires even run inside the bars. Looking for some that are already black though. If you want a 600RR part I know where to find it. This is all new, I don't even know where to look yet, but I am finding out.

Duh, I left out the link. Here are the bars I am going to get or similar if I find some in black already.

nice bike, hopefully you make new friends with similar bike because the sportbikes will leave you behind and you will hate it. I trade my cruiser because I don't have friends that have cruiser. It was fun riding without gear or care. I still preferred sportbike because of speed, suspension, braking, easy manueverability and best of all, full gear. When I was riding the cruiser I always have a feeling that one of these days I will get hit by a rock or something to my face, even if I have a half helmet.
BTW, good luck at getting attention from other bikers.
This bike is in a class by itself. You will not get respect or attention from Harleys owner, VTX, Roadstar or any other classic looking cruiser.
From now on, you will be an outcast like the wondering Warrior.

So who says u can't wear your normal gear because u ride a cruiser?
Be a leader and not a follower.
I wear all my same gear no matter if i am on the busa or the v-max. Still a bike and the ground is still hard. If ANYTHING u should be wearing more gear on a cruiser as the handling and stopping power is not as good as a sportbike.
They are really sharp bikes but i just think that with an engine that size it should have more HP. my 02 tho.

With my comment above about gear it was aimed at the Icon stuff, not gear as a whole. I will always wear gear, I went down at the track, gear saved my , so I know the importance of it. A nice plane black leather jacket is what I was refering to versus the Icon. Full face helmet all the time, yeah safety is number one, Honestly what keeps me wearing a helmet is comfort. I rode without a helmet about two years ago, it sucked and I will never do it again. The wind, bugs, rocks, dust you name it, RAIN it hurts when you dont have a helmet on.

As far as Hp numbers, yeah they are low. I got a custom map on the PCIII and it is putting out 79hp and 100Ft Lbs. Get rolling put your feet on the pegs and then hammer down and it will leave a black line though. I still got my track bike for speed, so if a riders give me oh well.

So other riders dont like warriors, why?
