For "parade laps" denim is fine. You only need leathers if you are planning on doing the track day with Fastline.

What will be the cost of the event if you will only be attending and just doing the parade lap?

I have never been to a moto houston event or have I done any fun rides or track days . I am new to the street bike seen and would like to get involved. I just bought a ducati 848 and love it. Hopefully I can make it out and see what everything is about.

"There will be a $3 gate fee for all spectators, with kids under 12 free. BBQ plates and other food vendors will be available at an additional charge."

Yea, you should ride out. Get there early, say by 11am at least if you want to do the parade lap.

Wear your boots, jeans, jacket gloves and lid.

Are the classes in the morning going to cost $$ or is it a part of being there? If so how much are they going to pay me to listen?

If you are signed up for the track day, the classes are included. Your payment with be better control of your motorcycle and more confidence in your ability.
