Welcome , If you have never ridden before take the MSF. If you haven't taken the MSF and don't want to wait until after you have taken it to ride your bike, just take it very slow. Be Safe

Motorcycles Unlimited.. But learn how it will affect your handling before you do that! I've seen short guys including my self one foot it when we need to because changing the height of the bike can do different things. Since your new don't get any bad habits.

Welcome!
just my opinion but everyone has there own style tricks ect, best to learn basics from a pro MSF, then develop your own style.
again my opinion, I wish I had done it that way.

^^^this. 2 days of back to back riding this weekend and my confidence was way up on the 2nd day. Still apprehensive about corning but that will come in time. Take the MSF.. best $180-185 you will ever spend. I became a better cager after taking this course I learned so much. It does not fully prepare you to be turned loose on the road and be a "street master" by any means. But, I have retained info from the 3yrs it has been since I took my course that got me out of a couple jams this weekend. I am still a noob, It was unfortunate I had to postpone my bike purchase a few years but the things I learned in the MSF kept me rubber side down this weekend.
