well its good to hear that people are ready for the next step and are actually planing on putting down the deposit. i kinda have the idae that when that deposit date comes were really going to see who has . the list is looking pretty good now. thats kinda what im waiting for. once you put in the deposit im pretty sure theres no turning back, so i just want to make sure that we have at least a good little group befor we start putting money on the table and something fall through, so as far as everything goes now...

we'll start putting our money where our mouths are on APRIL 2nd, the first weekday of april, and in case you didnt catch those directions in the previous post, all you have to do is call them, tell them your with Ross on April 14th at noon, and give them a credit card number...

i was talking to a guy at work today who has jumped already, and is thinking about coming with us, and he said that the most scary part is really the anticipation. he said that the plane travels to about 14000 ft and it takes a minute for every 1000 ft, so your sitting there, looking out the window for 15 minutes wondering to yourself what the F%$# you got yourself into.

think about it this way...
1) your motorcycles go faster than you fall from the sky
2) you have a higher chance of dying on a bike in houston traffic, than you do at these skydive places
3) if you don't jump you're a pu$$y

don't forget to post the pics!

ya, its all one package. you get pictures and a video of the whole days experience starting on the ground, the plane ride, the fall, and they edit it right there and give it to you. its like $70-$80...

If all turns out well (which it looks like it will) and all of ya'll get hooked (I hear it's addictive :icon_bigg ), you should plan another jump in 6 months or so! I'd LOVE to go, but we've already made plans to do the Kick-start the Cure ride that day. Ya'll have fun and post lots of pics!

well we might have to do that... because ive heard that its pretty addicting too, and not to mention, i think we get some kind of massived discount after our first jump but i think you have to purchase it there. i think 150 is enough money for me to spend in one day.

Typically most places will offer you the second tandem (if you liked the first one :laughing6 ) for $99 on the spot.

The hook is you have to buy it that day, and in some cases it is good for a year , in some you have to jump that day :eh: .

Dont let it get to you, I am sure that some more will cancel the closer it gets, some will be legit reasons, some will be backing out.

I will be surprised if you even get to 10, but more than glad to be proved wrong.

Dont let it ruin your fun, its a blast.
