Lightening Storm

Rode home from 1960 to bellville last night about midnight, hit the rain on 159. Not more than a second would go by and lightening would fill the sky, constant strobing. Was freaking amazing. Beautiful on the bike. Specialy when I hit bellville coming over the hill and lightening struck about a mile in front of me and the entire town went dark right as I rolled in and then slowly came back on. Seriously beautiful.

Hit a car on 59 and a house in Sugar Land this morning. Wish I could have seen that.

Most of it was across the sky but a few struck the ground "close" to me. Though about pulling over but I was on a road with no cover except tall trees. Didn't see how that would have made me any safer, lol. Of course got home, rain suit kept me dry except for gloves which were soaked and now my hands are dyed black and my boots which filled up. Should have put on my boot covers. Walked in the door, took all my gear off and rain stopped... very funny .
