Perhaps not the greatest of all time, but the Yamaha RZ 350 put the spank down for many years in the early 80's, as well as the Suzuki RG 500!

The privateer-run Britten was so much faster at Daytona than the factory bikes that it could be wheelied past it's opponents on the straights:

Ridden by Aucklander Andrew Stroud, the new V1000 dominated the 1992 Daytona Supertwins race. Right from the starting grid it exploded to the front. Footage of the Race shows Stroud toying with rival Ducati Ferracci rider Pascal Picotte. Time and again he grants the French rider space before almost insouciantly reeling him in, the super-machine cheekily pulling wheel-stands next to the unamused Picotte.

Now that's a stunt
