We did and they gave all access passes to AMA Superbike events and track days. I will find some old pics and post them as soon as I find them.

That's the best first bike so far.
Must been pain in the to kick start on the left.
Mine was on the right and I thought it was the greatest thing when I finally had a bike with the start button.

I believe it was a '74. To start the thing I had to turn the front wheel to the right and kick it over, sometimes it would slap the back of my leg, and for a kid it hurt, I had a few tears. The Bultaco was a Trails bike, the seat was low enough for me to stand the bike up, and you could climb on rocks, logs, and steep hills with this thing. A lot of fun to ride.

Here is a picture of the of one from a website: http://www.dropbears.com/m/models/a_to_z/bultaco.htm

Mine was a little different, it was all red, fenders and tank.

Mine was '88 and I was 16.
Pretty much the same height ever since, so I was 5'2".
I needed stairs or a curb to step onto to get on my 125cc two stroke dirt bike, not to mention how to kick start.
After several bruises and scratches (the very same reason as yours), I've learned how to do it (it's all about the timing, isn't it? )
But still, when the weather got cold, it was a struggle.
Sometimes by the time I finally start going, I was sweating in the middle of the winter.
Good times.

I hear you, I took a beating with that monster. Barber said that they have been looking for that model for quite sometime. You should have seen the look on the museum directors face when he saw the bike, it looked almost brand new. It was the summer of '91 when my grandfather gave it to me. We finished restoring it in 1999, and started it up every so often from there.

That's just great.
I love seeing old bikes well taken care of.
Hope to keep my SV 10-20 years later with over 100,000, but still running like brand new.

First bike age 10, was a Honda cr50 frame with a yz 80 motor in it. SWEET lay down shocks. Blew it up climbing a muddy hill with my buddies on 125's.
First street bike was an '86 Cagiva Allazurra 650. Had the Ducati "L" twin motor in it. Wish to this day I'd have never sold it. Have NEVER seen another one on the street. I'll find a pic.............

Bought a Katana 750
Then I got the Triumph 675
And decided to add a track bike to the mix Honda CBR600F4i
