It was great meeting you guys on Sunday! Josh and Schmidie... you guys were looking good out there. Schmidie, congrats again on getting that knee down (don't forget to turn the puck over to even out the wear).

Bo, great job on your first trackday. It was wise of you to take a session off to get a little rest in. The important thing is all the bikes made it back in one piece.

Hopefully I can make it out on the 26th to see you guys again.

Glad to see you realized it. This is an important point that other new track riders should take notice of.
As was mentioned, it's easy to get caught up in the moment and keep riding and pushing yourself. Then mistakes happen and that aint good.

Along the same lines, they say that many injuries while snow skiing happen on the last run of the day. People get the mindset of, "This is my last run, I wanna make it a GOOD one".
But they are also the most tired they have been all day. They make a mistake or a sore muscle doesn't work like it would have earlier and BAM!, a knee is toast.
Same thing with track days.

Ok I'll get off my soapbox. Glad you had a good/safe time out there!

Man, I can't wait to get out there. I plan on doing one in June. Maybe the next one at TWS (Texas World Speedway) at the end of this month.

Glad you had fun!

Trackdays aren't as daunting as they seem. After my first I was kicking myself for not getting out earlier.

We don't do it at Stubbs, but Motorcycles Unlimited or House of Paint Designs can take very good care of you. They're both up 45 north / 1960 area and are good people. While you're up there you might wanna hit up Schmidie that's his hood.

It's hard trying to get it set up at the actual track because on your first day you're kind of overwhelmed with running to class, running to get ready, etc. I'm so glad you tried it out though. Now you've witness firsthand why we love it so much. You're making me wanna get ready for the 26th...hmm...
