Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

what do u mean. u can just rewire that. its not that difficult. just rewire the headlights to a switch. 2 total switches. 1 for headlight on and off and the other for highbeam (which u already have). connect the angel eyes to the according light switch.

its really not the difficult

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

Let me tell you one thing... If you ride for long periods of time, you have a chance of melting those rings. Highbimmin was ordering new rings to use with his kit just because of that problem. A lot of people were using that plastic like the one you see on blinds and that would melt off in no time.

And Bejon, If you are gonna retrofit some projectors, go all the way by using OEM and not just some projectors off another bike. HID bulb will be used to its full potential in a OEM projector. Check this out....
http://www.hidplanet.com/package.html

For about $450 you get bad projectors, bulbs, ballast, igniters and so on. Those cheap asain kits you see on ebay go for more than $300. So if you go HID, do it right, especially since you are willing to do a retrofit.

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

thanks Bigdawg. i have that link. I already ordered them. The think with the angel eyes is that for me, with the HIDs as long as it is on the outer side of the light it wont melt, because HIDs arent as hot as halogen. But i'm going to have to see when i have enough time to make them anyway. Im going to see if there is some other plastic rod-like material that doesn't melt as easily anyway. I'll post it up if i find something.

Stephen... when i do the HID install, im going to learn how to do it, you can do ur bike then also.

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

if you want to just pull the bulbs out, and tape up the glass,, thats what i do,,, it is possible that the bulbs although unplugged, could break out on the track,,, well not break as in shatter but it could ruin the bulb.. so its best to just pull them out,,,
