What about the R6's? Angel eyes are pointless unless you can get your lights done to where you can turn them off.

Do the R1's come with the option of turning both lights on and off from the factory?

I'm guessing the whole thing on Highbimmin is a little more difficult than it looks. I'm just trying to figure out how hard it would be or just to send my off to get it done.

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

ok I am debating between two things, maybe u guys can help

Either i am going to find a R1 light put it in the bike (pretty easy retrofitting) and add hid q projectors and angel eyes.

or just going to get hidw/projectors and add angel eyes. what do u think?

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

r1 forum says that they do not have a sample of the R6 lights to make the angel eyes yet, but someone is sending his head light assy in to get the sample made, and they are going to give him the angel eyes installed for free of charge just for supplying the sample to the guys...

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

. well i talked to chris from highbimmin and he said that it will be easier if u had HIDs because it doesnt run so hot. with the halogens it makes it a bit tougher to make the angel eyes.

The hid kit is on backorder, so i have to wait till wednesday.

Replied to your PM. I think I'm just going to wait a little while. His pricing is a bit pricey.

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

i hear you, i think im just going to do them myself, im just stressed right now cause i have 3 exams tomorrow morning and 1 at night... and yeah i know the policy of only 2 exams a day, but i scheduled it this way. so i think thats why my mind is saying "just send the work somewhere else" but once this weekend is over, then i will be able to speak a bit more freely

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

In the directions it tells you how to wire them to the parking lights so that they come on as soon as you turn the bike on because it is more convenient for most people. You are able to wire them to a toggle switch though, so you can turn them on and off as you wish.

Yeah, but they are pointless if I can't turn my lights OFF.
