YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

here is the link on how to make the angel eyes.

http://www.geocities.com/jvxdriver/eagle_eyes.htm
(make sure to check out the update link at the bottom of the page)

For those of you who dont know, angel eyes are the name elected for the rings of light that are around the newer BMWs projector beams. With this mod, you can use any color LED lights come in.

I opted to paint the silver housing around the projectors flat black (high temp paint to prevent cracking from heat of the projectors). I also opted to only do two eyes instead of the four you usually see on other bikes.

You can always do what ever you want, of course!

Special notes: Alot of guys are really sketch about throwing the headlight assem. into the oven. Its not as scary as it seems. If anything, use someone elses oven and make sure no wires are touchin the oven. Also, put the lights in the oven as if you were looking at your bike from the front. I accendently burnt the black plastic mounting holes on the back of the headlights.

when you are at the part of opening the headlight, make sure you have a screwdriver or knife to pry the little tabs apart

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

lots of people do it with the new R1's and i havent read of any probs,, as long as you follow the instructions properly there shouldnt be any moisture that gets in...

if you want we can try it out on your bike and see how it turns out.. then we'll know

"Try" it out. lolz. I like the look of being able to turn both light off and both lights on at the same time as high beams.

Re: YAMAHA ANGEL EYES HOW TO

if im correct, u would have to rewire it and probably get a special battery pack so it doesnt affect ur battery.

i've remember seeing a post to do that on 600rr.net. im going to post it up and see if that person can send me the link to the kit again. There is also a guy on that forum that will do it for u. takes 1.5 weeks. and u would have to adjust the angle of the lights depending on ur preference once u get the lights back.

i'll post it right now
