Question No help in the other thread.

Will an 06-07 PC3 fit my 09 GSXR-600?
I don't need the PCV since all I need is just something to fix the a/f ratio with my full yosh exhaust. I found a site with 2 PC3's left on closeout for a great price, and they say that it fits an 08-09 gsxr, but I'm not too sure. Should I risk it for a PC3 or go with PCV?

Pretty sure the 06/07's were the last years you could run the PCIII.....that being said, Power Commander has the PCIII listed as an option on the k8, but not the k9. If I were you Id order a PCV from www.motomummy.com ......assuming the sale is still going. I got mine for $260, free shipping, and it was delivered next day.

Its a tough call. Like I said, the power commander website itself doesnt list a PC3 for the 09's.......For some reason I remember reading something at some point that said everything after 08/09 couldnt use the PC3.

for example, I put a pc5 on a 2008 m109r.

The books says use pcIII up to 08 m109rs, 9-13 use pcV. Same exact bike from 08 to 09, wires and all.

so im 99.9% sure youre good. unless there is a generation change.

Hard Racing has a list of years and what they use....just scroll down. The '09 uses the PCV. Im sure you can use the other one like said above, but for $50 more you might as well use the one that is made for the bike
