Best deal on a rear tire.

Who can get me the best deal on a rear tire for my R6? I'm currently running S20's because I got such a good deal from Wild West Honda in Katy. Wasn't really impressed with tire wear but it's some what my fault I suppose. Since I don't like having miss matched tires I guess I'll go with the S20 again. Best deal installed??

as you found out, the best deal may not be the most cost effective

look into pilot road 3's , Got 7500m on my last set, not cheap but at 2x the mileage off a reg tire, a better overall deal

already put a 2nd set on the ape, and will be putting them on the gladius soon

I was in CycleGear Sunday, had teh Diablos for $209.99 and $219.99 a set.

Last set I bought, I wore the rear out on one trip to The Hill Country.
the other set took 6800 miles to wear out the rear, and the front took right at 10K.

Not too shaby

I still have sets of S20's on sale for $199. The base model Pirelli Diablo is not a very good tire.

they charge $100 to install ft and rear on the bike, most shops are around $70+, is it really worth $30 or less to drive all over town shopping a price?

buy the tires from him and change the tires yourself. or take the wheel off and take it to Motorcycles Unlimited or HOPD 10-15 a wheel if you have to. just do it when youre in that area

they were pretty sticky once they warmed up. Much better than the PR3s I have had.

I am a Michelin fan, but at $200 a set.....why not. I also go through rears every other month, and a front 3 times a year.

I do all the installs/balance myself. Except for the last one, Flu wore me out. Cost $50 to have that one done......

Yeah, i bought a tire changer years back and i change all my tires. Took me hours the 1st time, i can to them both In no time now. I used to do a lot of track riding and having 3 bikes would just get silly paying for tire changes.
