Where do i fit in with MH?

I'm 49 Y.O., i've been riding street for 34 years so i'm not a noob. i can easily ride group 2 all day long but at my age, i just don't have the desire to. i can't, nor have i ever had the skill or desire to ride B.O. in the twisties but i do own my ZRX 1200 everywhere else.
basically, i like cruising and smelling the flowers for the most part but enjoy deep triple digit blasts and wheelie's, along with power sliding the rear wheel thru turns. i'm more of a rat racer than a Ricky racer.
is there such a group that i might fit in with?

With us other old folks around here! I do ride out sometimes but I totally get your POV. Look me up sometime and I will act old man hooligan with you.

i really appreciate your offer and i would love to take you up on it but i'm so sick of riding thru the heart of Houston to hook up for a ride.
i'm down in Galveston county. it's 65 miles thru the gauntlet just to get to you..

I can relate. I am 53 and have been riding for 25 years, about 8K miles a year. At 48 I found myself with 2 bikes an 08 Busa and a 07 Honda Shadow. I simply found I was riding the Shadow a lot more. At 50 I parted with the Busa (in part for self preservation). As I went through last five years the semi aggressive riding I once enjoyed gave way to a new found enjoyment of just cruising around and mini road trips. Perhaps you too are going through a change in preferred riding style. Today I have one bike a 2012 Harley Super Glide no performance modifications.

Good Luck

Why do you have to fit anywhere?

Do your own thing. People will be there.

Precisely. I've met some good folks here on MH, but I typically ride with like-minded older gents on sport tourers and cruisers, who are not on MH.
