Me and the wifey came up lucky this year... we did it perfectly. We get a refund of $38.

I'd rather have the cash in my paychecks so I can stick into my my 401K or IRAs... makes me more money than just getting a refund check all at once.

Eric, if you do'nt have any dependents... make sure you write in ZERO! Change your W4 now so you won't have to deal with this next year.

You know, last night I watched an episode on the Discovery/National Geographic talking about the IRS and their abusive power to make people pay in the 90's. There are a few groups of people that today trying to informed the public that the IRS is just simply wrong and there are no laws in the nation that make you pay this income taxes. They have won their fights in courts but I guess that you have to do the same to keep your money. The interesting part is that most of them are ex-IRS enforcer/employees. The IRS commissioner explained that even there are no laws in the books but it is just an implied laws. Just like going to the movies or eating out or grocery shopping, this is how the government have money for military defense or whatever in need.

everyone push the flat tax concept and we wouldn't have to worry about taxes every year (how much am i getting this year, how much do I owe this year, how much can I sell my kidneys for,...that kind of worrying). things could be so much easier.
