Starting to get the itch...

I have been riding for about 2 years (daily commuting and weekend rides ) and lately I've been considering going to a track day. At the moment I'm gathering all the safety gear just need boots and pants for my jacket. To get to the point, it will be my first ever track day whenever I decide to sign up and I wanted to get opinions on if the extra $$$ is worth the one on one instructions?

Not your first day out. Just go out and get familiar with your new environment. Enjoy!

Glad your getting out on the track Joe. You do have one on one instruction in level one. Not a full day but you do get an instructor to help you out and answer your questions throughout the day. When you decide to go let me know. I'll give you some more info. If your ready do one before you get boots and pants RideSmart offers free leather and boot rentals for your first time.

That's about how it went for a lot of us.

Ridesmart and Fastline both will work with you to get a set of loaner leathers for your first time. And go before it gets really hot in mid-summer. Your first time will be even more fun if you're not sweating your a** off even in the shade! There's several track days around in the next couple of months starting next weekend.

That's my conditioning too, except on the 290 HOV lane. I know from experience that my air temp gauge goes at least to 108!
