+1000 call around....

I pay about $400 a year for full, $500 deductible and gear and accesory coverage....

I do ride a big dirt bike and am a old dude with established housing, credit and no accidents in 20+ years though....

Nothing redundant about that. If someone that doesn't have insurance or very little insurance hits you. Then you can use your um with no deductible.

Stopped by State Farm this morning. It pays to be an old fart. I just got liability and comprehensive for $66.00 per year. I can add collision for still less than $100.00 per year. I was paying (until today) 100+ for just liability from Foremost.

Granted, my bike is old and not worth much, but I was blown away.
Got the OAR and OAB discount - old rider with old bike.

Exactly. I don't know how or why these kids do it.... They pay $200+ a month to be balled up like a monkey on a coconut.... crazy.

I used to carry liability only on my other old scoot for like $50 a year.

Because I liked the bike when I saw, it so I bought it. Then I had to insure.

This is my second bike, and wanted a little more power. Not going to sell this one just wanted to know about how much would be a reasonable rate for full coverage.

Liability for me would be cheap but I need/want full coverage.

This thread + a letter in the mail soliciting insurance through my CU caused me to do some research regarding my policies. Moved from Farmers to Liberty Mutual and saved 800 bones/annually. Thanks to the OP for starting the thread. lol

My bike insurance is always through Progressive (I use Jess Akin as the broker) and I typically pay 180-200 yr for liability + theft.
