I always remove mine if I actually go inside. It looks stupid as walking around in a helmet but that's just my opinion I guess. It's not that much work to take your gloves and helmet off. Plus how are all the hot ladies at the gas station suppose to see what you look like with a helmet on??

I don't care what others think. I just don't like spending an extra 5-10 minutes talking off everything and then putting everything back on for a 1-5 minute trip into the store.

It's happened to me at the Shell off of 59 and Beltway (north side)

Dude got all pissy with me when I was buying gum, said to take it off, I said no and he told me not to come back in with it on again.

Haven't been back. I do understand given the ghetto area that it is and robberies that most likely happen on a regular basis but c'mon I look legit w/ my slick leather jacket black gloves and a black helmet

For me, it's more comfortable taking off the helmet going into the gas station convenient store. If that happen to make the store clerk and other patrons more comfortable too, then so much the better.

It's a helmet, not a chastity belt with triple combination locks.
