Really nice facility. They have a few kinks to work out. But overall its got to be the best campus in north or south America

I wait listed with Ride smart. Surely they can fit a few more bikes on that huge track right?

Beautiful track and facility. Disappointed in the hospitality from ducati. No official island or owners lounge compared to other races. Overall great spectator track, but food in VIP was not that great as well.

I am hoping to head up there for this. Those V8 Supercars are more "stock cars" than our own NASCAR. I know a large number of G8 owners are planning on making the run up there and I may ours as well.

I practically begged for a lanyard & was given a big fat NOPE!

Overall, I think the Laguna experience is a whole lot better. It's an awesome facility though. They just need to know that bike racing fans aren't into the elite only paddoc access and we're good to go.

I'm afraid there's not going to be a large turnout, cuz nobody here really watches that series. maybe the NASCRAP junkies may see something they like

I had D bike parking, and was turned away from parking next to the ducs, but cars were allowed to park closer. By the end " normal" bikes were allowed to park next to the ducs

Decided last miniute to corner work after seeing post on here. I got to walk parts of track around end of esses, best part of those i think is the end, which does a revesre corkscrew uphill to turn 9 followed by a fast left kink past the rise coming doen to far hairpin.

There are a variety of lines based on the rubber laid down in here., also the camber was done good up the corkscrew as well so you can groove in and rail it tight up the hill, and the kink after looks like fun to with a variety of exist lines. Initially from construction phtos i was unsure if thed get this right and in looks as they have.

Also worked the turn at end of long straight, lots of backing it in... Run off is plentiful so dont crash trying to make a conrner. One thing i noticed is.Since this is a tight apex turn it appeard to has a slight crease close in at the painted appex of the turn and some guys stayed a foot or so away for a smoother line, others ran over it too, its not big. Those are the only parts i walked, looks like fun for those of you going.

super lame, Indy has way better support for Ducati owners. Really diappointed and will probably skip a couple of years until they get thier sorted out.

racing was excellent, but now that I have a family it would have been better for us to be in the lounge. Sun out there was brutal on my wife and kid. its just different scenerio for me now. THe VIP suites were nice, but you could only see the front straight, and the sound was louder there so turn 2 was where we spent most of our time.

I was there on Saturday, got a nice sun burn. The bikes were a lot louder than I expected. It was a good experience.

The GP race at Laguna Seca is a MUCH better experience IMO. Not saying COTA isn't nice, but they are some price gouging bastards.
