"Predator" motorcycle helmets, buyer beware

I would hope that the limited vision would deter anyone from buying this immediately, but if you're still not convinced, check this out:

$1'000 aus is still about $1'000 us. There's no way that's worth it.

Doesn't look to be any protection on the inside, unless he removed it

He did, that's the foam he was showing the chunks taken out of. It was there, but so badly compromised that I wouldn't even wear it around the block.

There's a guy here in houston who made his own (and wore it to lonestar)... don't know how he did it, but it looked awesome.

These... novelty. I'd never wear it. But they are being posted all over Facebook, and a few friends have sent me links.

You know, this helmet is garbage, but I understand why they wouldn't take it back. They sent him the wrong helmet without the options he ordered, he chose to take it out and wear it anyway. In the process, it got damaged. So they said "You broke it, it's yours". They have every right to do that. If he'd have just returned it, they'd have to give him the right one or a refund. If they'd have refused, he could protest to the credit card company and they will charge it back. So he's mad, but he's also stupid. Three times over. First for sending $1000 to a Russian company, second for spending that much on a novelty item, third for damaging it when he didn't get what he ordered.

I don't get this at all...you could not PAY ME $1000 to wear it.....first off it's ugly as ...secondly it just looks cheaply made and that was before he showed the inside and shell of the helmet. Why? He must have more money than he knows what to do with.
