I'm sure if you'd get use to the speed limit it would become a non-issue.

See above.

- I've seen rocks, nails, sand, bricks, etc. etc. I don't condone it, but I understand it. I don't even like listening to loud bikes ride past my house at low speed, let alone railing it like it's a racetrack.

That is classic coming from some of the you have posted.

So if YOU caught them in the act what would be the outcome?

Beating someone's for being stupid or whatever reason isn't even close to doing something like putting bricks in the road which will eventually injure or kill someone.

So on that note, I'd teach them a little lesson before dialing 911.

So what about the second question.

What would big bad BTR do if big bad BTR caught them in the act putting bricks down on the road mid curve?

What would you do to them, verbal abuse, tickle, make fun of them, aggravated assault?

I definitely understand their aggravation with sport bikes railing down their road....but they are going to kill a motorcyclist, that might not even be speeding when they hit a brick in a turn.

How about call your local cops and get them to set up speed traps, what the .

Yeah when the same cops come out that mysteriously knew what day of the week the group you ride in would be out there, and about what time yall arrive; show up. I'm sure they would pat you on the back.

The HUGE difference between these two situations is that the brick in the road is INTENDED to cause harm/death. Makes the difference between a motorcyclist wiping out and killing anyone manslaughter, where the brick in the road is murder.

Since thats not a real technical road I like to take the woman out there 2 up, but can't really do that anymore due to bricks, off neighbors, other riders passing us while 2 up in the same lane. A handful ruin it for the bunch.

6 of one, half-dozen of the other. Breaking the law is breaking the law. Slow down and survive, or continue on and take the chance. It really is that simple.

Like I said, I don't condone it. I don't think it's right. But it is what it is. If the residents stop putting on the road are you going to stop breaking the law when you ride out there?

-I used to love riding 1489. I've even railed it a couple of times myself. , I live 10 minutes away. You think you're upset? I can't feel safe on a road that's LOCAL to me anymore because others can't seem to "keep it in their pants".
