What to do...

There'll be a change at work big enough to also change my job direction pretty soon.

At this point, I feel like I need further investment for my career (going to school).
Or I could start entire new career.

It'll be nice if I could work for motorcycle industry, but I know myself enough to know I can't be a sales person.
There's no way I'll feel comfortable to sell 600 to 18 year old boy.
I'll probably tell him to get a 250 and learn how to ride first.
Don't really think that's gonna bring me enough dough...

If I can find a job relate to marketing/promoting, that'll be fun.
But I don't really know how to get into it.

So, folks.
Keep your eyes open if somebody needs a graphic person or some position in motorcycle industry.

I'm not actively looking yet.
I still have current job and probably will last for another while (could be a month to whenever).
I do have some places to ask around and send out e-portfolio.
Not really sure if I wanna jump into another position just like mine right now.
I want more and I don't mind investing for better future.

Thank you.
That's good to know.
:icon_smil

At this point, I'm just keeping my eyes open to new options and giving lots of thoughts about my future.
I'll be 35 this year.
Whatever decision I make, I have to stick with it and take it very serious for a long time.
Don't really have much time left to mess around.
Gotta think about my retirement!
:laughing6

Wait...

That's not funny...

Join the American Marketing Association Houston Chapter and go to their regular luncheons, seminars and other events, great for networking. They actually encourage networking the first 30 min prior to each event, so have plenty of business cards available.

Also, see if you'd be interested in webdesign. Webdesign would be a great venue for you and there are some neat companies out there to work for. Some like people that they can train themselves, as long as they have the drive to do so, so minimal HTML experience may be required.

If you have the talent, get good at one program, Adobe, for example, and know how to create flash animations, etc.

My major is Marketing and I'll graduate this May. If you like, PM me for more info.

Thanks for trying to help me out, Patricia.
You always have a good heart to help others.

But,
I don't want to work any marketing field but motorcycle industry.

Don't have web skill, that's one of the reason why I'm thinking about going to school.
