Back in Shanghai again

Well I'm back in China. You'll hafta forgive some mistakes. I'm trying this from my iPhone and its 7:45am tomorrow for you guys. I'm also trying not to wake Ying.... hehehe.
I wish I could ride my GSXR up HWY 30 along West Lake. WOW you talk about an awesome knee draddin ribbon of asphalt!!! Couple that with the beautiful mountain scenery an the prettiest girls along the way!!!

BUT- because of how crazy the traffic is, bikes aren't allowed on highways. There's virtually no bikes over 125cc anyway. In 8 days I've seen an old GSXR and a Yami cruiser of some kind together and 1 Harley from the 4th floor of the court house in Ji'nan (don't ask).

Yes, those are sikaidas(spelling) on a stick, so fargin spivey ya really can't taste them anyway.

More to come

Notorious Biker Gangs of Shanghai *Addendum*

Now I'm in Nanjing. My hotel is right outside the Olympic Complex. This is by far the cleanest and nicest looking city I've ever been in while here. I saw a Duke today. I've been here for 12 days and only seen 4 bikes. I saw none in Shanghai. I know the laws make it very impractical to ride one so maybe that's the reason.
I gotta discribe a little about the sheer size of these cities. Shanghai is running 24 million people, and Nanjing is at 20 million. Houston has about 20 tall buildings. Shanghai has skyscrapers by the thousands. It's litterally like repeating downtown H-town from Katy to Baytown and from Spring to Galveston. Millions of peoples and complex after complex after complex of high rize housing and business buildings. And the buildings a mamoth size.

Government building across the street from the Olympic stadium.
I have a ton of pictures, but loading them with my phone is a real problem. As soon as I get to a decent computer I will put up a bunch.
