ID:	67399I woke up this morning and when I walked out the door of my apartment my bike was gone... The cover was laying on the ground right next to my neighbors bike that was untouched... I know that I should've had some sort of alarm, and lock, but I didn't... it was a black 2008 Yamaha YZF R1 with aftermarket fairings, no decals... I know my bike inside and out and can basically ID any part on it by the various scratches, touch-ups, etc. so if anyone see's someone parting out a 2008 R1 suspiciously out here, let me know. I'll be watching craigslist and eBay closely...Please call me at 713-632-4656 if anything comes up...

It has...
Yoshimura TRC Slip On Dual Carbon Fiber Exhaust
Dynojet Power Commander III USB

The apartment thieves strike again. They are the most populated so it's so easy to have someone spot it and want it and make a call to someone they know who will steal them. Doesn't look as suspicious in an apartment as a neighborhood.

I hope you are able to find it! I really do. Just seems unlikely.

When I was 20 my FC was 3500 a year. The bike was stolen after 3 months. I would say it was worth the 3 months I paid for it.

Everytime I see a bike unattended I think well it would be long now, to leave it outside in apartments is ridiculous to think it wont get stolen.

Once again, YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE FULL COVERAGE (COLLISION) TO COVER YOUR BIKE AGAINST THEFT! ALL THAT IS REQUIRED IS COMPREHENSIVE AND LIABILITY!
