No, no running. It's just the Gopro is the only real video camera I have.

I was concerned about the GoPro not being allowed. I have it mounted to the top of my SLR and am going to try passing it off as a flash. lol.

Think it will work?

that is a sporting event and CHL holders are by law precluded from carrying into them...its the law.
This will apply to the parking lots on premises....may be different for those 'other' parking lots but would have to stay in car anyway.

from the law, cannot carry:

(4) on the premises of a racetrack;
...

premises, means not just the buildings but entire property.

their do not bring list includes video and photography equipment. Their ALLOW list includes personal video/photo equipment. What I think they are saying is that if you bring your DSLR with a 1600 telephoto and a monopod for it, you will be out of luck. However, if you bring your personal use camera, you will be fine. This is my interpretation and I bet those enforcing (security they hire) will not be uniform.
