Saturday, April, 20 ride to raise money for Mark

We are trying to raise money to cover some of the funeral costs for Mark.

Come join the ride and contribute some cash to help.

This ride will be a 2 group ride:

Group 1 = Moderate pace to PSL. (2_up riders welcome)

Group 2 = Novice Pace (assisted by Halffast). Halffast method will be used to help the Novice riders stay safe and learn very basic group riding techniques.

For those that can't make the ride; online contribution is still available:

http://www.youcaring.com/memorial-fu...ral-fund/52603

Meet: Bucees (Mueschke rd/ 290)

Time : 08:30
Mandatory meeting: 09:00
KSU : 09:30 (kick stands up)
Destination: to the benefit event via some fun back roads.
http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=254947

Basic rules:

* Gear Up..(Helmet, Jacket, gloves, full pants, Kneepads highly recommended, over the ankle boots)
* Please DO NOT PASS in corners.
* No burnouts, or stunting in the parking lots.
* WE AIM TO HAVE NO CRASHES.
* Any rider that is a danger to other riders (following too close, brake checking/stoppies, intoxicated, popping wheelies close to other riders..etc) will be asked to leave.

NO ONE WILL BE LEFT BEHIND. So no need to play catch up...we don't mind
waiting for you to make it to the next stop light/ sign a little later....Thats way better than scraping you off the road or waiting on a tow truck to get you home...

I will be getting some video footage of all the supporters and make a short video for Marks family. So, even if you dont have a bike, cage it to show your pretty faces..

Sundayrider will be collecting donations on his Sunday ride too...So, if you can't make it on Saturday..try Sunday...

Lets see how much we can get together:

Mark "Prolifik"

Hi folks,

I am a new member who recently joined the forum to try and learn more about Mark's accident. My wife and Mark's mother are cousins. I am currently on a business trip riding my bike and will be riding down to TX this coming weekend to continue a new project. I will be coming through Houston probably on Apr.25th & 26th and was thinking of visiting the family.

Have any of you visited the family on your bikes? Are they ok with that or is it a sensitive subject? I would appreciate your thoughts on the matter since Mark was one of your members and you may know his family.

Please email me at: fkeller56@gmail.com

Thanks.

Hi frank,

Awwwww....i sure hope his family wouldnt mind us being on our bikes. I was there on the ride the day he passed, never met the guy, but i feel a small connection with him for the sole reason that we both ride...and that i was there on his last ride.
One thing about us riders is we have a huge sense of camaraderie, if u haven't noticed.

Its like...a fallen soldier who lost his life n his fellow soldiers showing up in uniform.
Or a police officer dying in the line of duty n his unit coming out in police attire.
Or a patient who lost their battle with breast cancer n supporters donned a pink ribbon.

We, by far, dont mean any harm n definitely dont want to hurt the family any more than they already are. Perhaps u can ask for us. I can ask joshua as well.
