Ride to MotoGP Austin

Weather permitting, planning to ride up to Austin Fri. early afternoon before rush hour traffic, originally planning to leave Sat. but wanted to avoid MS150 traffic as someone had suggested. Anyone planning to leave around that time interested in riding together?

What are you guys bringing in your backpacks? I was thinking a few water bottles, blanket, pair of walking shoes, ear plugs, snacks...? What else?

Rode the bike and arrived yesterday at 3. VIP parking was still open and only $15 cash parking. Brought the backpack inside and didn't even get searched. Still pretty empty today as well. Weather is awesome, bring your sunscreen!

Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to buy my tickets at the office when I get there since online sales are closed

We were there yesterday! They took a ruler and basically just stuck it in my huge purse and said, ok! Didn't look at nothing! I could have stuck a few beers and J'a in there! Dammit!! I seen lots of backpacks!
