Super Secret SwiftE Scouting...

More pics from the "Super Secret SwiftE Scouting"...

"So, how fast can that thing go?"
A: Speed limit
B: 25
C: Well, on the track...
D: All of the above

135006714 M

I won the bet! I don't recall claiming my prize, though...

135006721 M

Does the suit still zip after the jalapeno burger 'all the way'? :laughing6

135006722 M

Sometimes it helps to pick up your feet when you're moving, you know...

135006727 M

Hey Eric, you've got a headlight out

135006734 M

I had a lot of fun today guys. I'm glad we had a chance to run the route in advance - that gravel might have been fresh since it wasn't as bad last time I ran a group of street bikes through. Some slight modifications will make the route a lot easier to run with the full group.

Can't wait 'till next time!

Stats:

265.3 miles
Moving average 47.2 mph (this includes the traffic @ Hwy 6 on my way home though)
Total time 7:50
Moving time: 5:37

Lunch was dragged out a little and we got a late start, so with a better start and more focus on stops/breaks the whole thing should be done by 3 or 4 in the afternoon.

And the map:

We had a really good time.
And it was not Gravel, that Rebecca took us on, it was a ROCK QUARY (sp)
I'll be sending her the invoice for my tires

La Centerra is very nice.
I saw a lady and her poodle dressed in the same outfit and the lady pushing the poodle in a stroller. I wanted to kick them both.

And Martin, I managed to keep the bike upright the entire day

even though the rock quarey (sp) was not helping any of us, to many close calls in such a short distance..

You need to relax on that loose stuff. The harder you try to control the bike, the more it will fight back. Relax your arms and back, stay easy on the throttle and don't get on or off the throttle quickly. Don't EVER touch the front brake on that stuff!

For the record - I actually helped Eric avoid the gravel on the way there by taking that cut-off before the park (after Racer Rd). Otherwise we'd have gone through there TWICE!

Do y'all luv me now?
