If squids read about HP, they shoulda gone with the 10R.
I don't know why many new riders like suzuki? Everytime I asked it is the same response, my friend have one and I rode it and love it.:dontknow:
It is not about the look or position or anything like that until you own a bike and get into it. I was like that with Kawasaki. I used to have a 440ltd, then a nighthawk.

Your bike is making good power. Factory Pro(EC997a), Super Flow, Cycle Dyn dynos ALL read lower then dyno jet. Even the dj250 with the eddy current brake is going to read higher then the others because the load brake is not used on wide open full pulls.

I have had my bike on more dynoes then I care to count but I do know when it was stock with a pipe, it made 156hp on a Factory PRO Eddy current dyno at KLOWN SPeedworks back in the day...then a month later I dynoed it at KWS's old dynosaur DJ150 and it made 165hp with no changes to the bike after a 1 hr ride there.

I bet your R1 makes 155-158rwhp on a DJ250.

Try Tejas motorsports.. THey have a nice air conditioned dyno room with the tuning link and weather station... Don't let them tune it because the operator/tuner is an clown but just for some runs, they are ok and very repeatable.

I probably have over 500 pulls on my bike....LOL

The Factory Pro Eddy Current will read lower than the DJ dyno's. However, you can compare your #'s to other bikes dyno'd on the Factory Pro for reference.

Alan, I was at Klaus a few years ago when you were getting your bike dyno'd. He worked with your bike all morning and I had to wait to get my carbs adjusted. I was riding a green ZX-9R back then.
