Glad to know you were able to get yourself out of that situation. sounds like you handled it quite well.

I understand MotoU does insurance repairs if you're going that route for repair (FYI)

Also, can you explain whether the road was wet or the type of pavement you were on was already very poor quality and the gravel just made it that much worse ending up in a slide?

The road was completely dry. I also noticed once i got up from the slide that there was gravel or small rocks between the grass and the concrete road. After some thought I'm thinking that after last weeks heavy winds and rain the rocks may of been washed up on the road. i was on 359 just after you go over the I10 bridge.

I called my wife as I was headed in and told her " Hun I'm going to pay you a visit at work.." Then we got into the discussion about what happened. But yea what drives me nuts is the number of times I have been on this road and taken this ride even while riding two up with her.

We both realize that these things are always capable of happening and this is the reason for riding with gear and not to give up riding.

Thats just how I am.. I've always been thought to be a man that needs nothing and is totally self reliant on ones self.. That way you find a true partner and never need anything but love from that person...

Na my wife loves to ride two up when ever we have a chance.

More or less the adrenaline and minor mental shock kept the pain at bay. It always hurts the next day.

Glad it wasn't any worse and you were geared up. As Hung said ATGATT! Hope u heal up quick.

The human body is amazing. When I broke much collar bone, some ribs & punctured a lung last year. I called my son to come pick me up, thinking i was just going home. By the time he got there i knew a hospital visit was in my near future.
