no.
deal.

You could easily have a 2009 R6 from an individual in that range.
2009 with 11k on a not really popular model? I would not pay a dime over 3600 and even then it would feel a bit pricey.

2009 R6 for $4500? probably not

I dont think its a bad deal but I dont like small dealerships like the one in that post. They advertise one price but u end up paying way to much in the end. And they sometimes buy auctioned bike that are wrecked and fix them up to sell

Again the price isnt far off but ask what the out the door price is...

What does nada say? KBB?
Do your research before you buy anything. Car, bike, washing machine.
Check craigslist adds, e bay, poke around on the internet.
Know what you want to pay before you wall in the door.

Btw, internet forums are places to get bad advice and crappy opinions, not solid financial information.

Bear in mind that in the depths the Great Recession, dealers were giving these away for not much more than this guy's asking price.

I looked at a late model FZ6 a couple of years ago. It was either a '10 or '09. The guy had just bought it brand new leftover stock less than 6mo prior for a little over $5k and put some 2000 miles on it. He asked for $4500 and I offered $4200, which the guy initially accepted. Before I could go back and pick it up, he called and said he got a slightly higher offers and wants me to go pick it up that day. I told him if he wants to sell it that bad, go ahead. Later I was glad he pulled that stunt on me, as I probably would not have liked it anyway.

If you like the bike, call or stop by and make an offer. You never know.

Between the FZ6 and this, V-twin wins hands down in my book.

I would agree, but never say never. ApeDucYamKawHonSuk might come out with a killer I4 with quad-plane assymetrically-split crank that rat-tat-tat like a V-twin at low RPM, wails like a triple in mid-range, and makes Godzilla power at 17,500RPM redline...
