Austin is having a reggae fest.

What sucks is the city is not running a shuttle to COTA like they did for formula 1.

Oh, reggae fest, huh?

Yeah, that would've been great.
Hate having drinks limited because of driving.

Heads up for anyone checking this thread and staying in downtown.

Cab rides for the F1 weekend from downtown to the track were a fixed rate of $90 each way if I recall correctly. Just food for thought for those who may be considering cabbing it from DT to the circuit.

It seems like it, but if there are four of you then you guys can share $45 each, both way and don't need to worry about DUI.

I agree. I am hoping the pricing on things stays more in reason for MotoGP weekend as the F1 weekend is an entirely different crowd of spenders in my opinion.

I need a pint of ether and some mescaline.

This is no longer just about the race. We are chasing the American Dream!

Its 4/20 weekend in Austin, and Moto GP I am sure Austin will have its largest crown in history

MS150. I can't make the race and sold my tickets and parking pass because I will be riding up to Austin in the MS150 bike ride. So everyone going up there this weekend. I would highly recommend leaving Friday because there will be thousands and thousands of bikers on the roads to Austin.

So you would rather ride a bike 150-200 miles than go to the motogp? thanks for the info

Just got my tickets in. Looks like we will be in section 214 in the grandstands. Also, anyone going on a pit walk?

Another heads up based on the F1 weekend back in Nov last year ... there was no credit card machines for any of the merchandising. All you wanted to buy was cash only and all ATM's were packed with people and would give you very limited cash per day. So bring your cash with you ...
