He is tiny. If he can tuck and if he can ride, I see no reason he wont make it. I hit it on 2 different 600's weighing 230ish and not even in a good tuck. I did it first trip out too.

I guess I just got lucky with my bike lol.

My '06 with a yoshi slip on, k&n filter, and -1/0 sprockets went 11.3 @ 124 on my first ever pass on the dragstrip on a motorcycle. I followed that up with an 11.1 and finally an 11.029 @ 125. An f4i is a capable machine if you know how to ride it. I launched around 8k and shifted without the clutch and away she went. Here in Charlotte NC we're 748ft above sea level, maybe thats why I was quicker than I've seen other bikes run.

My other buddy with an '03 f4i with stock gearing still ran an 11.6 @ 122.

http://cbrforum.com/forum/drag-racin...-times-123915/

Its obvious that that guy could ride the out of that bike though.

BTW ET and top speed are two very different things. A pass can still end with the same trap speed. Some of my lower ET runs resulted in lower mph trap speeds. Its crazy

FIRST PASS and FIRST TRIP are 2 very different things. I'll give him 20.00 if he loops it first pass. I'm more likely to have to pay up. lol

Looping it I am assuming that is what Josh or J.E hurst did.....
I don't think I can do 120 on my first run. But for 20 dollars I might be able to do it. I plan on going this weekend and possibly the 4th of may.

They mean looping on the launch. I looped it at 100mph.

Cuz almost did it somehow on a 250. He saved it though. BTW it helps a lot of you have the front end strapped down. I doubt you know what that means though. Tire pressure at about 20 to start. If you cant hook, drop it to 16. They have air there to fill it before you leave. Hope you have the burn outs down. Keep out of the water box when pulling up. You dont need to be in the water to get it spinning and If you get it on the front tire, you are asking for trouble.

Put a 3 digit number on it starting with a 4. They are less likely to ask if they see the license number on it. Mine has been expired for years. I have not been asked

Its actually a safety issue. If you break traction after the launch the bike can get real squirmy real quick. Even a 600. You really want that tire hot for traction.

Burnout or not you WILL spin like crazy if you dont drop the pressure in the tire. There is no negative effect from doing so. You should start at 20 try from there. DONT get on that line with 36+ in that tire.

Set one up. I can probably get my hands on a 600 to go out and play on. Just gotta find leathers and a helmet. It has been a few years since I have even sat on a bike.

I'm lazy. Im not very motivated. I STILL have not figured out why my air shifter is not working and why the kill isnt being done by the QS and Bazzaz. Still have not tuned the 1441 for nitrous either. Gotta wait till I pull the engine again and get the cam timing issue worked out. Lost all motivation. Lost my race team too.

I went through depression and withdrawls for about 2 months after i sold mine then was ok. Then a little while back I was cleaning through my garage and found a transmission and shift shafts that were for that 1k motor and started getting the itch again. I have been somewhat looking for a cheap 05-06 1k to start over with but with my kids im not ready to dive back in too fast. gets expensive quick when all you want is to go a little faster lol.
