There's no accounting for taste

I guess they didn't want anyone hauling on public streets which would have been visually much more appealing

I dig it, can't blame them for wanting to go mainstream. They are coming to the US and that's a part of our motorcycle culture.

I like it. anything that may appeal to non riders to me is an added bonus. When I didn't ride and my friend tried to get me to watch moto gp it was boring. So as a non rider the cool stunt would have appealed to me. Need viewership to keep it on tv and keep 3 races in us

yup, its money to attract, not make those who already like the sport, to like it even more. This aims at attracting the motorcycling enthusiasts from across the country to check out the race. Simple.... $$$. Those of you who already like the sport, they do not need ads for you....lol.

Y'all let me know when Red Bull starts paying to run that ad on TV, because right now they're running one that only features MotoGP video

I gotta admit I care very little for motogp. Only reason I bought tickets was to see the track and play in Austin to a weekend. So you take people with interest in bikes but care less bout motogp and all the others who hadn't heard of motogp let alone the track and depending on interest that's a small pool. So I can see why all the advertising and a few gimmicks here and there

I can understand the add...don't care for it much myself...
I drive a car but have no interest in watching nascar...
so I can understand folks who ride bikes but do not care for moto gp...
and the truth is our state side moto gp events are not very well attended compared to events in the rest of the world... and so far ticket sales are far below what was projected.. they are having trouble getting enough volunteers to fill the flag marshall spots.. they are sending out emials this week asking for everyone who is volunteering to get their friends and relatives over 18 to sign up now less than two weeks before the event. if things don't get better in the last two weeks, this may be the first and last moto gp in Texas.

Are they offering a free tack day?

The radio commercial is worse.

My friend got to drive the track in his little toyota truck with Colin. Yes, I'm jealous.

I understand your views and opinions. However please dont turn this into a bashing thread of stunt riding it is what puts food on my family's table. If any of you get a chance to come to our show there please come up and say hi.

p.s Permits were obtained to film and perform those stunts on the public roadways.
